I never post albums because they are usually gone before I have a chance to photograph them.

Here's an engagement album/guest book I did for The stunning Karisa and dashing Ray a few months back. I photographed it just before the guests signed it.

I photographed Margaret when she was pregnant with this little one.

Recently I went back to shoot a few images for a Christmas card. This will be Sydney's first Christmas on this earth! I look forward to seeing Sydney grow and documenting many more moments in she and her moms life.

There's a chance that my dog Otis is the cutest dog that has ever lived!

Here he is sportin' his new haircut at 16 years of age. This was photographed 2 days ago in the driveway of my neighbors house...

Cool Things...

I went to get my brakes done yesterday at The Craft Shop Garage by a great guy named Paul. I was so inspired by his beautiful shop that I broke out my camera to take a few photographs. Paul was nice enough to give me free reign to shoot anything I wanted. While he spent the hour fixing my brakes, I spent the hour photographing all his fascinating car and bike things. Once in a while Paul fixes a break or tunes up an engine, but his specialty is restoring old vehicles and motorcycles.

Paul makes very cool lamps out of car parts. They're really ingenious. He's sold most of them to stores and commissions so to keep a record of them he keeps pictures in this photo journal...

Tara and Tom Get engaged!

I have known Tom for the past 5 years. He's a great guy with an infectious laugh that seems to always find the humor in every situation. Then entered Tara, a creative, down to earth woman with a twinkle in her eye and a mischievous voice. Together they are a perfect balance, warm, fun and most notably, loving and respectful of one another. One day Tara called to say she and Tom were getting married and that they wanted me to photograph their wedding! I was thrilled for the 2 of them and honored that they chose me as their wedding photographer. I photographed their engagement this past rainy Monday just like the song, but it didn't get me down...

While Tom was carrying this chalk board out into the rain from his garage, I thought to myself, couldn't he move his stuff around later after our engagement session?! With a devilish grin he craftily turned the chalk board around so that it faced the camera and to my and Tara's surprise there was a message written on it...

Tessa & Scott on their big day. The Capital Club, San Jose - 10/4/08!

This was such a fun wedding! Tessa and Scott really know how to throw down a party and their families really know how to enjoy themselves. Tessa is such a lively, fun and witty woman. She has an amazing husband, great friends, a loving family and she just married into a fabulous, rowdy bunch of inlaws to match her equally exuberant family. There was never a dull moment yesterday. Tessa and Scott were gracious hosts. It was so nice to sneak a peek into their lives on their day! Speaking of sneaking a peak , here are a few images from yesterday...

Tessa and the girls were brave enough to stand in front of this parking garage. They didn't understand why I was shooting there, but I knew it would make for a great image so I'm glad they trusted me.

Tessa and her lovely mom wait patiently for the big moment of the day and Tessa's life, to walk down that isle and say, I do!

[b] school...

Christopher Becker is a very talented and respected photographer in the industry. I Have included his video widget on my blog because if there's even a little way to give back to Becker I want to do it. As you may already know if you are keeping up with my blog, a few months back my then boyfriend Rob fell ill to encephalitis. It was a very difficult time for me. Beside working full time, visiting Rob each day in the hospital, talking with his doctor's and taking care of his dog, I was trying to deal with his upcoming wedding season business. It was overwhelming. Many photographers offered to shoot Rob's weddings including internationally recognized photographers. Chris Becker went above and beyond not only offering to shoot for Rob but also sending a video shout out on his popular blog to photographers for help. He organized the long list of volunteer photographers, matched them up to the couples about to be married and wrote each couple with a list of photographers they could choose from. Becker didn't know me or Rob from Adam, yet he reached out to us, I can't thank him enough. I thought Becker deserved an action hero in his likeness. Shouldn't everybody renowned have their own doll! Here's the bobblehead that Rob and I gave to Becker as a thank you. If you watch his bschool video you'll see it even talks!

Go check out [b] school, I intend to!
